Cape Ann Today - State Senator Bruce Tarr

Massachusetts State Senator Bruce Tarr talks with Heather Atwood about the Fiscal Year 2023 budget, the Economic Development Bill recently passed by the senate, and the Climate Bill from last winter finally made it out of conference committee.  

 

At a final number of $52.7 billion the 2023 budget includes a lot of local aid, doubles the school aid per pupil in the state, and has important funds for mental health in the schools. The Economic Development Bill includes funding for local firefighters and tax relief for citizens.
