Brown tells Kory the mandate gives towns two years to opt in or out. Towns who chose to opt out will be ineligible for certain grants.

The newly elected City of Gloucester, MA City Council started with governance and became quickly steeped in zoning. Council President Val Gilman Ward 4 describes the work done in 2022, and addresses some of what she anticipates for 2023.
